Shady Circle Campground is family owned and operated and has been a Parke County favorite hideaway since 1970.

Our Seasonal Mobile Home Campground is located on the North end of Raccoon Lake. Lake access and boat docks make for convenient fishing, boating and other water activities.

Shady Circle offers large wooded rented lots for separately purchased (existing) mobile homes. A very limited number of mobile homes are currently for sale on rented lots. Lot rent is $1125.00 per year and there is a $190.00 utility deposit. Contact ShadyCircleCampground@gmail.com for more information.

We encourage a community atmosphere and have scheduled events, including an annual hog roast, fish fry and a July 4th Golf Cart Parade.

Memorial Day:
 
Date Saturday, May 28, 2011 @ 5:00 PM. Pitch-in Dinner at the Shelter House by the Flag Pole. Hotdogs will be provided. Please bring a double batch of your favorite covered dish. This is the first social event of the season and a great opportunity to catch up with your neighbors.
 
 
 
4th of July Weekend Festivities:
  
Date: Saturday, July 2, 2011. Our favorite holiday event of the year! Shady Circle's 4th of July Celebration! Golf Cart Parade at 11:00 AM. Dress up the children/grandchildren, decorate the golf cart and join our neighborhood in this fun annual event. Prizes are awarded to the top 3 decorated golf carts. Parade will begin at 11:00 AM at the flag pole. Following the parade and flag pole ceremony, the Hog Roast pitch-in will begin (approximately 1:00 PM). Please bring a double batch of your favorite covered dish. Fireworks on Raccoon Lake at dusk at Raccoon State Park. *****Raccoon Lake State Park fireworks on the lake**********
 
 
Labor Day:
 
Date: Saturday, September 3, 2011 AT 5:00 PM. Annual Pitch-in dinner at the Shelter House. Please bring a double batch of your favorite covered dish.
 
Fall Party:
 
Date: October 15, 2011. at 5:00 PM. Fifth Annual Closing Campfire and costume party. Please bring a large kettle of your favorite soup/chili to share and don't forget the marshmallows for s'mores!
